Formulation Basis

H&F Rose Collagen Capsules are formulated in reference to modern Chinese Herbology and research advances in food science for the vacuity of yin as the root and blood stasis as the tip in postmenopausal women.^[1-4] Herba Dendrobii and Fructus Mori supplements the vacuity taxation and marked emaciation of the five viscera, strengthen the yin, boost the essence, supplement the kidneys, boost vitality, clear heat and endanger liquid ^{(from Compendium of Materia Medica)}; Flos Rosae Rugosae, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae detoxify, beautify the complexion, move the qi, quicken the blood and effectively remove free radicals and liver spot ^[5]; collagen and Vitamin C has anti-oxidative and anti-aging properties and can remove free radicals, as well as restore the activity of the skin and blood vessels. ^[6]

Clinical Indications

Postmenopausal symptoms due to vacuity of the yin, dry heat, blood stasis enduring and entering into the network vessels: red flushed facial complexion, tachycardia, anxiety and irascibility, panic, dry and itchy skin, liver spots, vaginal dryness, less interest in sexual activity, etc.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration, 2 capsules 2 times daily, or as per physician’s orders based on the assessment of the patient’s condition
