Formulation Basis

H&F Papaya Jointwell Capsules are formulated with modern research in accordance to the Chinese Medicine pattern types in bone and joint disorders and taking into account the incidence and distribution of the different types of bone and joint disorders in Singapore. The causes of bone and joint disorders are divided into the internal and external factors. Internal factors include vacuity of the liver and kidney resulting in lack of nourishment of the sinews and bones, and long-term detriment taxation resulting in blood stasis and qi stagnation. The external factor is the exposure to wind-cold-damp evils resulting in the impediment blocking the meridians and channels.^[1-2] This product not only supplements the liver, strengthens the sinews and bones, quickens the blood, transforms stasis and relieves pain, it also dispels wind, eliminates dampness and free the channels and network vessels. The medicinal actions are effective against rheumatic, blocked channel induced and strain taxation induced joint diseases.

Clinical Indications

Symptoms due to wind-dampness-heat impediment, vacuity of the liver and kidney and enduring illness entering the network vessels: weakness of the limbs and lumbus, tense sinews, restricted flexing movement, wilting impediment, swelling pain of the knee joints, etc.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration, 2-3 capsules 2 times daily
