Formulation Basis

H&F Liver Wellness Capsule is clinically indicated for drug induced liver disease, fatty liver, alcoholic liver disease and the preventive medicine for post-hepatitis liver cirrhosis. The multiple actions of Liver Wellness Capsule include: fortify the spleen in order to reduce drug induced liver damage, transaminase activity and liver cell degeneration and necrosis^[1]; clear the heat and dissipate binds to relieve hepatic inflammation, improve hepatic microcirculation and prevent excessive oxidative stress in hepatic cells and liver cirrhosis.^[2] The medicinal actions are targeted towards eliminating the etiology, suppressing inflammation, preventing liver cell damage and necrosis, restoring hepatic function and reducing complications.

Ginseng/ Cordyceps/Ganoderma lucidum	Supplement the liver, fortify the spleen
Spica Prunellae/Radix Puerariae	Clear the liver, dissipate binds and disperse welling abscess
Fructus Lycii	Enrich and supplement the liver and kidney
Radix Glycyrrhizae	Glycyrrhetinic acid has antiviral and hepatic cell membrane integrity-stabilising properties[3]

Clinical Indications

Symptoms arising from drug induced liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, fatty liver, etc. due to overdose of medications (antihyperlipidemic, immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, etc.), smoking, excessive alcoholism or long-term radiation exposure: fatigue, bitter taste in the mouth, dry throat, reduced or blurred vision, pain in the rib-side, abdominal distension, sloppy stools, yellow urine, red tongue, deep and fine pulse.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration, 2 capsules 2 times daily
