Formulation Basis

H&F Aloe Prebiotic Capsules are formulated in reference to modern Chinese Herbology and research advances in food science with the help of patented technology. The capsules are used for the relief and prevention of constipation, and promoting the growth of probiotics. The action of Aloe Vera increases the water content in the intestinal cavity and promotes intestinal peristalsis, hence achieving the goal of emolliating draining precipitation and freeing the bowels.

Prebiotics regulate the growth of intestinal bacteria groups. These compounds are beneficial to the body and are not digested. They include non-starch polysaccharides, dietary fibre, inulin, oligofructose, etc.

Clinical Indications

Used in the treatment of dry stools, difficulties in defaecation, etc. These are commonly seen in habitual constipation, constipation in the elderly, postpartum constipation, etc. Inulin produces satiety hence the capsules can be used for weight control.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration, 2 capsules 2 times daily, or as per physician’s orders based on the assessment of the patient’s condition
