Our Founder
Company founder, Dr. Zhang Qinghong, Master of Medicine with specialisation in diseases of the spleen and stomach under the tutelage of Great TCM Master Prof. Zhou Xuewen, Ph.D. in clinical pharmacology of TCM and Western medicine integration, and post doctorate in food application of Chinese herbal medicine. As a former principal of the Singapore Institute of Chinese Medical Studies, he trained a number of TCM physicians in Singapore and Johor, Malaysia. Dr. Zhang devoted his life to the TCM industry and the overseas promotion and awareness of TCM, doing it every two weeks. For once every two months, he insisted in providing medical consultations for low-income residents on small islands around Southeast Asia using TCM and acupuncture. The current products for Herb&Fashion Pte Ltd are the accumulation of Dr. Zhang’s clinical prescription experience.
Ms. Grace Liang Jing, Food Nutrition at Temasek Polytechnic, Bachelor with Honours in Management at National University of Ireland, MBA at Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Ms. Grace and Dr. Zhang founded Herb&Fashion in 2005, with its privatisation in 2007, established in-house pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in 2012, built cosmetic manufacturing facility with shareholders in 2017 and moved into Shenguan Building in the same year. Herb&Fashion is now the only Singaporean brand manufacturer with oral and topical Chinese Medicine products.
Herb&Fashion has been serving local TCM hospitals and clinics all over Singapore. The company currently runs on a B2B model, and has launched B2C brands InnerMost Radiance and HF in 2019. The company has inherited our founder’s original intentions: using high quality genuine Chinese Medicine herb extracts under the principles of modern Chinese Medicine theory for the treatment of health issues of modern Man. Demonstrating the beauty of TCM through the power of TCM herbs.
